Assalamu Alaykum and Hello. This post will discuss on some of the things that could hinder your geo sales.
1. This is only my perception. It is not a general reason and some people might not agree with my opinion.
2. You could not be doing all these and still not see a sale. In that regards, you should look elsewhere, always re-strategise and be patient.
3. I believe in God’s grace in this business. Whatever you do, if it’s not time for you to sell you will never sell. However, that doesn’t stop you from making sure that you do everything right. Wait for God’s grace to do the rest.
Here is some reasons;
Your pricing is very important. If you are just starting out or in need of money, I will advise you start lower probably 399,350. There is no harm starting high, however, I believe the lower the price the quicker your chances of selling. I’ve had experience with this. On a Monday my laptop spoilt and I planned to get another one on Wednesday. I looked into my portfolio, drastically reduced the price for some of my domains to 150-100. I Outbounded and by Tuesday night I’ve sold 3 domains enough to get another laptop.
If you are in a drought, you can always reduce your price, sell to boost your confidence and continue.
So in general, high pricing may hinder your sales especially if you want them fast.
*Buying some unpopular niches
Some niches are so unpopular even with Google. Meaning you will not see much endusers. I try to avoid them. You may ask which are popular niches? Well I don’t know entirely, but with experience in the industry, you will be able to tell which niches sell. Some obvious sellers are;
- Drone Services
- Real estate
*Buying cities with low population
Generally, Low population cities bring low endusers. However there are exceptions if the niche is good. Some niches that bring good number of endusers even with low population include;
- Real estate
*Not including price in your sales letter
Would you like it if you were to enter a super market, and all products do not have a price tag. This means you will have to pickup the product, go to the cashier and ask for the price. And you need to do this for each product. I bet the supermarket will surely lose you as a customer. Always add price in your geo domains sales letter.
